Was house of 1000 corpses scary?

This is one of my favorite movies. Since the exorcist didn't scary you then nothing in this movie will. Its pretty much the same plot as the texas chainsaw macre. A group of friends on a road trip get captured by a family of serial killers. The Devils Rejects is the sequel to house of 1000 corpses and is also good.
