How do I update my PSP Custom Firmware to 5.50 GEN-D3?

At the moment I have 5.50 GEN-D2, but I can't play some of the new games (Army of Two etc.) so I think I need to update my Custom Firmware. Will 5.50 GEN-D3 sort the problem and how to I get it?
