Why do people think my preferences about music and movies is wrong?

I'm only 19 and i love music from the late 80's and the 90's. like artist like TLC, Toni Braxton, Lauryn Hill, Boyz II Men, SWV, Babyface, etc. I love that kind of music because it brings back so many memories and makes me feel good. I love to watch old movies from the 80's and 90's because i just love them a lot. And people make fun of me about it like it's wrong so does my brothers and their older than me, 24 and 21 so i'm the youngest one. Is that wrong?
