Im trying to find a movie.. late 90s, marine trained to become a terrorist... eats poridge every day.. help?

i think it was made in the late 90s.. from what i can remember.. starts off a caffee gets blown up.. ppl die, a marine who looks identicle to this terrorist is trained to become him.. eating porridge for every meal and made to look at tombstones names and such and such.. saw this movie way back when but cannot for the life of me remember
