How does your view of "human nature" affect your political opinions?

I believe that humans do not have an inherent nature, but that they are what they make themselves. People are also what they learn to be from the people they trust, such as parents and teachers. My political views are heavily biased by this belief, like my pro-choice opinion on abortion, people can do what they feel is right with their babies. Also, I am very liberal and am open to new opinions because I know that what I have been taught to believe by my parents is not always the right choice.
